Every object is cut from honest materials and built to be mended, not thrown out. It arrives with spare parts and a repair guide, so the thing you buy is the thing you keep — a little more worn, a little more yours, each year.
Anodized aluminium, solid oak, hand-thrown stoneware. Nothing that flakes or peels.
Worn parts unscrew and replace. Spares are kept in stock, so nothing is thrown away.
Offset delivery, plastic-free packaging, and a take-back program at end of life.
HEWN is a small studio that makes slow product, properly. We add an object a year at most — a tight catalog means every piece earns its place, and every piece stays repairable for years.

We like to picture HEWN the way it's actually lived with — a mug left beside the lamp, a throw off its fold, light crossing a shelf through the afternoon. Nothing staged to look untouched. The things worth keeping never are.
